Did you know that we have beavers in Atascadero?? SLO Beaver Brigade observes, promotes, and protects these amazing ecological heroes. We have the special opportunity for a private tour to the emerging beaver wetland in our very own town, on the Salinas river. The lodges were washed away in the atmospheric river event of last year, and so this is an amazing time to view the beavers at work to rebuild and create a new beaver pond!
